Our first time trying the China Diner and we were pleased. The service was attentive, the food tasted, and the restaurant felt premium. I’d go back. My favourite was the hot and sour soup and the lamb in lettuce. Toilets were very clean too. My only criticism was that the portions were small.

Love the food at China diner, finding parking around might be tricky but you can park behind by the M&S parking lot. Service is always great and I always look forward to dining here.

I took my wife here Wednesday as it was our 20th Wedding Anniversary, pre-booked beforehand. We were welcomed and shown to our seats, shortly after asked if we were ready to order drinks. The food was amazing and the staff were well dressed and attentive but not in your face. Only thing that could be improved would be background music and a couple of fortune cookies. Would we come back, definitely.

A lovely restaurant, with great food and service. We had one guest with a nut allergy who they genuinely looked after. The best dishes include the honey pork, crispy broccoli, Thai herb prawns and shredded smoked chicken. Thank you for a lovely evening, I hope we are local again to enjoy the food.

Absolutely first class restaurant. Food is cooked so well, full of flavour. Atmosphere is calming, clean and nicely achieved with friendly but efficient staff. Top marks for this restaurant. Highly recommend

I went to China Diner for a big family dinner after my husband had had lots of takeaways and was always suggesting we go for a meal. I’m Latin and not used to Chinese food, and I had never really enjoy what I had tried since living in London but the meal we had a China Diner was incredible. My husband was right, for once. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by the family who run the restaurant, the dining room was beautiful and elegant, and the food was spectacular. We ordered the set menu and loved every single dish. My favourite was the beef in black bean sauce Can’t wait to go back!!
